Pregnancy Tests
Pregnancy tests can be done under the a slide fee scale or through private insurance.
Well Women Visits and Exams are available by appointment. Long term birth control, such as Nexplanon insertion and removals are also available by appointment. Most insurances accepted.

The agency offers comprehensive medical examinations including:
Pelvic exam
Pap test to screen for cervical cancer
Clinical breast exam and instruction
Testicular exam and instruction (males)
Screening and treatment for some sexually transmitted diseases
Health education and counseling
Pregnancy tests
Follow-up and referral for identified medical needs
Basic infertility information
Women's health visits are performed at low-cost or are free of charge.
Low to no cost birth control is also offered.

Surgical sterilization (tubal ligation and vasectomy) by referral
Intrauterine device ( Mirena) by referral
Those with private insurance who receive gynecological services from CCHD will receive a prescription for birth control supply.
Depo-Provera® picked up from a pharmacy can also be administered.
Breast & Cervical Cancer Screening Program
We are a provider of the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program (WVBCCSP). This is a comprehensive public health program that helps uninsured or underinsured women gain access to breast and cervical cancer screening services. Screening and early detection reduces death rates, improves treatment options, and greatly increases survival.
To initially qualify, you must be between the ages of 25 and 64 And NOT be seeking birth control or be enrolled in the Family Planning Program.
BCCSP visits are scheduled by appointment.
BCCSP visits are performed at low-cost or are free of charge.

Sexual Health
STI Clinic
STD services are available every Monday & Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and by appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
There is no charge for this service.

HIV tests are performed every Monday & Friday 8:00 am - 3:00 pm and by appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
There is no fee for this service.

Hepatitis B
All Clay County residents ages 19 and older who present to an STI clinic will be offered a series of three Hepatitis B vaccines. The blood work prescreen and post screen test are optional.

WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children established in 1972. It is administered by the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health, Office of Nutrition Services.
WIC is a federally funded discretionary program. It provides services to as many eligible individuals as funding allows. WIC focuses on the link between good nutrition and good health.
WIC services include:
Nutrition counseling and education
Breastfeeding promotion and support
Health screening
Medical and social service referrals
Monthly food packages
