THE MPOX VACCINE
Immunization is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself and your community from mpox.
In West Virginia, the following residents may be eligible* for vaccination:
Gay, bisexual, or other men who have sex with men, and/or transgender, gender non-conforming, or gender non-binary people who in the past 6 months have had: a new diagnosis of sexually transmitted disease or more than one sex partner
People who have engaged in the following in the past 6 months: sex at a commercial sex venue or sex in association with a large public event in an area where mpox transmission is occurring
Sexual partners of people with the above risks
People who anticipate experiencing the above risk
